360 Photobooth Freetown is a 360 video booth service for traditional weddings and put-stone ceremonies in Freetown. The families gather, the gifts and the calabash come out, and the booth gives both sides a slow-motion video of the day in their matching fabric, with the couple's names and family colours on every clip.
What happens on the first visit
Traditional ceremonies often happen at a family home or compound rather than a hall, so the first conversation is about space. Send a photo of the yard or room and tell us roughly where the families will sit. We find a level spot about 3 m by 3 m that keeps the booth close to the celebration without blocking the ceremony itself.
Why a 360 booth suits a put-stone ceremony
A put-stone or traditional engagement is a family occasion before it is a party. Elders, aunties, uncles and the groom's delegation all play a part, and most of them are in coordinated outfits chosen for the day. A 360 clip shows the fabric, the headwraps and the movement in a way a still photo cannot.
The booth also gives each family its own moment. The bride's side can record together, then the groom's side, then the friends who came to dance. Every group leaves with a video on their phone, and the couple receives the full set afterwards.
Timing the booth around the ceremony
The ceremony itself, with its speeches, negotiations and gift presentation, is not the moment for a queue. Most families open the booth once the formal part ends and the music starts, when people relax and want to celebrate.
Two hours often covers a home ceremony. If the traditional ceremony and the church or court wedding happen on the same weekend, many couples book both and use the same overlay design for a matching set of videos.
Overlays in your family colours
Every booking includes an overlay with the couple's names and the date. For a traditional ceremony, families often want more: the colours of the fabric, a family name or a short line in Krio. A fully custom design is an extra, prepared in advance and approved before the day.
Send a photo of the fabric or the invitation and we match the overlay to it, so the videos sit alongside the family photos rather than looking like a template.
Prices and paying
Hire is priced by length: 2, 3 or 4 hours, with extras such as a fully custom overlay design, red carpet or backdrop added on top. Current prices are on the packages page, and the cost estimator gives a figure for your hours and extras without a phone call.
